Netflix’s plans for a massive New Jersey production studio are moving closer to reality after the first stage of the project got a key approval from a local planning board last week.
The media giant’s $903 million proposal to build a film and television production studio at Fort Monmouth, a 289-acre former Army base near the Jersey Shore, is split into multiple phases.
